Johanna

Johanna is so grateful for the opportunity to share yoga with others.
First introduced to yoga
in 2000, she took classes hoping to build strength and stamina, finding
that there was so much
more beyond the physical benefits. Through her own personal
journey and guided study she
has learned what a divine gift yoga truly is. Johanna hopes to
share this insight with others as
they discover their own path to their "truer self". PEACE and BLESSINGS Col. 3:14

Polly
Polly loves
her yoga students and each class is a chance to
challenge them and have fun at the
same time.
Polly has a
degree in Psychology from Taylor University and has
been teaching health
and fitness for years, the last 3 she
has been teaching yoga and it has become her
favorite thing!
Polly received her formal instructor
training from YogaFit. As a continuous student of
the practice
of yoga, Polly also enjoys attending workshops with
yogis such as Seane Corn, David Swenson,
and Desiree Rumbaugh.
Polly thanks the Lord for her two biggest blessings,
husband Dan and daughter Abbi. Abbi has
even
joined mom in
teaching the Yoga Girlz classes and Dan is doing
yoga too! Polly's favorites
include warm
weather, watching
Little House on the Prairie, early mornings, and
breakfast.

Tammy

My life long love for being active, healthy and fit has brought me to
Mind Your Body. I've always
been a runner but wanted more for my mind and flexibility for my
body. I started with Vinyasa
and Core Synergy and loved the benefits so much that when I was asked if
I would like to teach
Core Synergy I knew I had to share my love of the class with others.
I love that it gives your whole body a complete workout, clears your
mind and makes your body
stronger, leaner and toned.
Tina
Movement
as a form of expression has been a major part of Tina’s life. Starting
with dance at age
three, she earned a B.A. in Modern Dance from Sarah
Lawrence College, New York in 1983.
Having dabbled with hatha yoga in
college, she returned to the practice after settling back in Fort
Wayne.
With over 16 years of yoga experience, her yoga style combines slow flow Vinyasa with
yin stretches and an Iyengar/Anusara focus on alignment.
She trys to convey the traditional Indian
practices of asana, pranayama
and meditation in a manner that is accessible to the average American.
When not practicing yoga, she works in her family real estate business,
but her most important job is spending time with her precious daughters
Adrienne and Sophie and her husband Marc.
